Styling our customers is our favorite part of this job. We’re here to help cement your ideas and outfit you for any occasion, anytime. Don’t have any ideas? Received that baffling “festive farm formal” wedding invitation? Don’t know a single thing about menswear or putting an outfit together? Don’t panic — we’re here to help. We’re happy to work with you whether you’re putting together an outfit out of our pieces, or bringing in your own garments to get advice and a tie or two. We’re constantly researching styles, fabrics, fabrications, obsessing over every single detail so you don’t have to…and we’re here seven days a week. If you want to work with one of us specifically at the shop, or even set up an in-home consult we’re up for that, too. It doesn’t matter if you’re a clothes horse, or if you don’t even have a clue where to start — we’re all about putting you in the right threads that you’ll want to reach for over and over again. 

What does that cost? What is offered?

If you swing into our shop on the second floor of Thornes Marketplace in Northampton, we won’t charge you a single red cent for our styling services…we consider that part of the whole package here at J&C. If we’re coming into your home to do a consult on your wardrobe, or being hired for off-site consultation, we charge a $50/hour flat rate. Please contact the owner if you are interested in an in-home consult. And again, if you’re looking to spruce up something that you’ve bought form us in the past, we’re always happy to fine tune the tailoring. If it has  been over twelve moths since your purchase or if it was bought on sale we’ll just charge you what our tailor charges us.

What do we do for weddings?

Getting married? Congratulations!!! We’re more than happy to help you into the outfit of your dreams for your big day. We offer styling services for the groom(s) and groomsmen parties of any size, but we also offer discounts for wedding parties of four or more (4+) — which includes all tailoring at no additional cost. If you have family living far and abroad, we’ll ship garments to them so they can have it altered locally. If you want us to hold a garment so someone out-of-town can come in and get it marked in real time, we’ll do that, too. We also offer two different custom suit programs — Jack Victor and S. Cohen, both high-quality, family-owned lines — if you want to do something really special and unique for the occasion. Whether you’re doing a small backyard wedding or a massive doorbuster with all the extended family, we’re always ready to help outfit your wedding party.
